Penni Ellington

Penni Ellington is a seasoned publicist with over 20 years of experience.

Ms. Ellington got her start on the Aaron Spelling daytime drama Sunset Beach, where she ran the international online newsletter SOS—Support Our Sunset. It was a grassroots media campaign designed to promote the series and help with its continual renewal. She also interviewed the cast for their fan club magazine, Sunset Scene, and organized and hosted the annual fan club event, drawing fans and press from all over the world. Aaron Spelling called her his “Lucky Penni.”

In 2002, Ms. Ellington joined Viacom Productions, and worked on such shows as Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The Division and Ed. When the company was absorbed by Paramount Television, she moved on to work for The Walt Disney Company, bringing her PR expertise to SOAPnet, Disney XD (fka Toon Disney), The Disney Channel, ABC Daytime and Freeform (fka ABC Family). She has worked on such shows as The View, All My Children, General Hospital and Monica the Medium. In 2011, she was reunited with Melissa Joan Hart, doing publicity for Melissa & Joey.
